Here's How I Relieved My Dry Eyes

I didn’t think much of my dry eyes at first - after all, I look at screens for most of the day.

"It should go away on it's own" I thought!

But as time went by, my dry eyes were getting worse and worse.

To the point where my eyes constantly bothered me..

One day it got to the point where I decided enough was enough. I had to do something about my dry eyes!

But I didn't even know what was causing it..

So I got on my computer and spent hours reading everything I could about the cause of my dry eyes.

The Main Cause Of Dry Eyes

It turns out one of the most common causes of dry eyes is your tear ducts being blocked.

Which as I read more about, really started making sense..

Tear ducts keep our eyes hydrated and if they're blocked, no matter what we do, they'll get dry!

And when our eyes are dry all the time, the risk of eye infections goes sky high...

Which explains why I was getting painful styes all the time.

It doesn't end there though...

Through my research I found that leaving dry eyes untreated can lead to scratched corneas and even ulcers!

I Really Had To Find A Solution.. And I Had To Find It Fast!

The first solution I tried was eye drops, which worked at first.

I'd put them in (multiple times a day) and my eyes would feel great after...

But just a few minutes later, they'd be bothering me again.

The problem was that even with eye drops, my tear ducts were still blocked, so once the eye drops dried up, so did my eyes!

Not to mention, I can't even use eye drops when I sleep.

Which left me with two options: (eye drops or finding a solution that actually works)

1. Keep using eye drops for temporary relief and worry about my eyes getting infected or hurt

OR

2. Search for a new solution to my now very dry eyes

Number 2 it was, with my next solution being something that sounded really promising...

Elderly person resting on a couch with a cushion covering their face.

I'd seen tons of people talking about how much hot compress has helped relieve their dry eyes. There was even some science behind it as well!

When hot compress is used on and around our eyes, the gunk blocking our tear ducts softens. On top of that, we start tearing up, which is the perfect combination to clearing out our tear ducts and relieving dry eyes.

I also find hot compress relaxing, so you could say I was pretty excited!

That is until I started using one of those big and bulky heat packs...

The ones that cover your face awkwardly and lose their heat so fast that you have to keep going down to the microwave.

But at least with hot compress, I knew the root cause of dry eye was being addressed!

Unfortunately, just like my eye drops, the heating packs were a huge hassle.

I needed a solution that would work all day long, without me having to constantly do something.

And so the search continued..

This Time I Might've Found The Perfect Solution

Eventually I stumbled across this eye relief mask - a new device that combines targeted hot compress and massage to open up your tear ducts and fully relieve dry eyes!

“How hadn’t I thought of this before?! It seemed so obvious, but at the same time.. would it even work?”

At this point, there was no time to waste, I had to find out.

So I poured through reviews - hundreds actually! Checked blogs, went on forums and asked others what their thoughts were. I even talked to my doctor.

And to my surprise, nearly everything I found was extremely positive.

Maybe this actually was the perfect solution?

The main things everyone was mentioning could be boiled down into 4 extremely promising, hope-inspiring points:

Person pressing their fingertips to the sides of their nose.

It applies hot compress exactly where you need it, at the perfect temperature

Unlike regular heating packs, the eye mask warms up to the exact temperature needed to open up your tear ducts (105 F) and stays at that temperature as long as you need!

On top of that, the mask is perfectly shaped to apply heat in all the spots needed to relieve your dry eyes.

To me it seems like the perfect heating pack for dry eyes, but to my surprise it does so much more than "just" provide soothing hot compress.

It soothes & massages the muscles around your eyes for extra relief

Along with hot compress, massages are just as effective at relieving dry eyes...

And this eye mask combines both for maximum relief!

Using new air compression technology, the mask gently massages the exact spots needed to relieve your dry eyes.

And don't be fooled by the word "gentle" - from my research, this mask gives you the same relief you'd get from a professional massage.

Targets the root cause of dry eyes for long lasting relief

Through all my research, I found dry eyes are most commonly caused by blocked tear ducts.

And two of the most effective solutions, which actually target and fix the root cause of dry eyes is hot compress and massage.

Both of which are included in this eye mask, and that gives me a lot of confidence knowing it'll go after the root cause of my problem rather than being a "band-aid solution".

It also means that with regular use, my dry eyes should get better and better over time!

Very easy to use and provides relief in as little as 15 minutes a day!

Another thing I really liked about this eye mask is that I can use it anywhere, at anytime and each session takes just 15 minutes!

So if I wanted to use it during my lunch break, at home while I was watching TV, or even right before bed... I can!

And it's not like I have to sit there and do nothing the whole time, because there's actually built-in speakers that let me listen to music on my phone.

Best of all though, is how easy the mask is to use. All you have to do is put it on, press the on button and relax!

And boy is it ever relaxing...

How the eye relief mask works

While I believed all of this, I’m a natural skeptic and still had my doubts. But at this point, I was ready to do nearly anything to get rid of my swelling. So I went ahead and ordered this mask from a company called The Eye Relief Co.

I chose The Eye Relief Co. because as I was shopping between companies, I noticed they had the only dry eye mask to combine heat at the perfect temperature with massage focused on specific pressure points.

At first I wasn’t exactly sure what made them so special, but as I read their website it started to make sense.

It said their heating elements have been re-designed and re-positioned many times until the perfect combination was found.

On top of that, the air technology massage is supposed to target the exact same points as a professional massage therapist.

Their reviews were also really promising, which was a big part of why I ended up choosing The Eye Relief Co.

Fast forward to the day my eye mask arrived and I was so excited!

Of course I put it on right away and the first thing I noticed was how comfortable the mask is. Even though it's "one-size-fits-all", it's super adjustable for a great fit.

When I actually started using the mask, it felt absolutely wonderful and I started to notice relief really quickly.

In fact, just a couple days later my eyes were already feeling much better and a lot more hydrated throughout the day.

Overall, the eye mask lived up to (& way past) all of my expectations.
