How do I clean the goggles?
Every couple weeks we recommend you fill your steam therapy goggles with distilled water and let them completely empty the tank twice.
To clean the rest of the goggles, please use a damp cloth or paper towel to gently wipe them down. You may use rubbing alcohol if you'd like, but we recommend wiping them with distilled water after to not irritate your eyes when using the goggles next.
Will the goggles get moldy? How do I stop mold from building up?
With the way our steam therapy goggles are designed, it's nearly impossible for mold to form. Since it uses ultrasonic technology (similar to a newer model humidifier), there's no internal parts that stay wet.
To this day and out of all the steam therapy goggles we've sold, we've never had a customer complain about mold build up!
How hot does the steam get?
Our steam therapy goggles offer 4 levels of warmth, which can be selected using the heating mode button.
The default mode is no heating, which will give you a cool / room temperature steam. Once you start using the heating modes, you can select between 100°F (38°C), 104°F (40°C), and 108°F (42°C). All of which are gentle and 100% safe for your eyes.
