Folks with strength or mobility issues often cannot do up laces or have the strength required for elastic slip-ons. Good-looking velcro closing shoes with adjustable fit accomodate strength, mobility, and swelling issues. I highly recommend this exellent shoe.

My mother has been struggling with shoes/slippers as she has hammer toes. These shoes are AWESOME as they have openings on the top of the shoes that allows for the extra room needed. My edema manifests itself mostly across the TOP of my feet to my ankles. Until now, I have been unsuccessful in finding a shoe I can easily wear. These shoes adjust in two places: near the toes and across the top of the middle of the foot. I wear a true size 8.5. I originally sized up, but returned for a size 8 wide. They fit perfectly and are pretty comfortable. The shoe comes with two thicknesses of shoe inserts, I use the less thick. I have since reordered every color. The description says "elderly" but really, they are pretty fashionable for their purpose.

I got procedures done on both of my feet at the same time and had to go in person to work less than a week later. I didn’t want to walk around with surgical shoes on both my feet through a school and none of my shoes (including my crocs) could fit around the gauze and wrappings.
Luckily, I came across these shoes. They’re considerably better than most other shoes that were wide enough to fit. They were super easy to put on because the Velcro allows the flap on top to completely open and they stayed on really well.

My broken foot was healing and I was transitioned out of a walking boot, which was great -- BUT I discovered that my foot was still swollen just enough to make my regular shoes too tight. Also, it is a little uncomfortable shoving my foot into regular shoes (even my walking mules, which surprised me). These shoes are a great help. I chose a style that opens all the way to the toe so I can just set my foot inside and close with the hook/loop tabs. Two pair of inserts come with the shoes so you can adjust how much you fill each shoe. I found that adding an insert made the toe too tight -- but the option is nice. I normally wear 8-8.5 WW shoes and am glad I got the 8 W in these shoes -- bigger would have been too big. The heel is a little roomy but I prefer that to tightness.

I purchased this shoe because I broke my right foot and had to have a rod inserted. So the right foot is very swollen and I need a shoe that can slip on. I was on the edge because it would take a long time to get here and I would be disappointed and it's non returnable. Came and it's perfect. Comfortable, no problem with slip on, adjust the velcrose to fit left foot as well as right. Came with 2 extra padded inserts. I wear a size 8 shoe, perfect size.

I needed a brace for my foot. Unfortunately I can’t use any of my shoes. 2 were possible because the insole came out to cover the metal brace. Struggled. Impossible.
I looked at many Velcro shoes. I saw this design and just one flap. (6 flaps if someone else is doing it.) These shoes are one-hand, very easy to get on and off. Diabetic shoes are “dorky-looking” and gray, black, beige and not a woman’s shoe. This style is so much better, very comfortable and yes a keeper.
