How do I clean the goggles?
Every couple weeks we recommend you fill your steam therapy goggles with distilled water and let it completely empty the tank twice.
How hot does the steam get?
Our steam therapy goggles produce 4 levels of warmth, which can be selected using the heating mode button.
The default mode is no heating, which will give you a cool / room temperature mist. Once you start using the heating modes, you can select between 100°F (38°C), 104°F (40°C), and 108°F (42°C). All of which are gentle and 100% safe for your eyes.
Should I keep my eyes open or closed when using the goggles?
You can do whatever feels best!
We recommend using our steam therapy goggles for 5-10 seconds at a time with your eyes open, alternating between both eyes for about 5 minutes.
With that being said though, you're able to do whatever you like! If you'd prefer keeping your eyes open with constant steam for 5 minutes, 10 minutes or even 15 minutes, you can do so.
If you'd prefer keeping your eyes closed, that's completely fine as well.
